Poetry by other members of the family

From over the seas
by Mary Roads

How many Christmases our families have spent

Talking, drinking, laughing happily content

Just to see each other to smile, to dance or sing

Isn’t our own family most wonderful a thing

Looking back over years to a past long gone

Standing by each other because our love was strong

How many others can really truly say

our love for one another is still the same today

So brothers dear and sisters this year we are apart

but Ted and I and June will keep you in our heart

Have a happy Christmas and may God bless you too

Remember when you raise your glass we three drink one with you
